Hi All,

I have recently had the fabulous opportunity to take my new moms group away
from the store I had it in (they did something really NOT OK to me so I left
and took my boutique and mommies with me) and move it to a fabulous
Non-Profit group called Mother's Support Network. The group had started out
being a new parents/moms type of thing but quickly evolved into the only (I
think) weekly breastfeeding support group in town. (If there is anyone in
my area on the list and I am wrong please let me know so I can refer moms to
you as well!) The group tends to be about finding "normal" in the BF
relationship when BF didn't start out right - but we are getting other
mommies who have not had any issues at all coming as well as pregnant
mommies. I am really excited about this - a dream come true/goal realized
for me! So, I'd like to offer up some weekly topic ideas even tho the group
is (so far) doing well just 'going with the flow' of conversation. Any
thoughts out there as to what else we can talk about besides the most
obvious (BF in public, mastitis, nursing patterns.)? My brain, for some odd
reason, seems to be at a loss for ideas! Which really sucks!

Just looking for other ideas to keep this a really successful group!

Warmly,

Jaye Simpson, IBCLC, CIIM
