Yes, the ABM companies do provide "newborn booklets" in various forms, free,
to physicians.  They also will pay for printing of such booklets, providing,
of course, that the formula-feeding section mentions their particular
products.

Being a Lactnut, I wrote my own and have them printed by the hospital's
printing dept--

but, since the costs of printing the booklets can be quite high, physicians
often will take advantage of the ABM companies' offers to try to keep office
overhead down.  Managed care has taken a toll on all offices, and keeping
overhead under control is actually quite crucial.
For this reason, you may find even breastfeeding-friendly docs having
booklets printed by ABM companies.
