I missed the begining of the chylothorax thread, so am not sure what was
being referred to with the info that should be written up... however last
year when Bobbi Philipp and I were researching our book,
Breastfeeding:Conditions and Diseases (published by Tom Hale/Pharmasoft) we
did a very thorough literature review and there are several cases in which
breast milk feeding has continued throughout this condition. In some cases
the long term outcome was the same whatever the feeding method, but the cases
were very few and far between so it was difficult to draw any general
conclusions.
