We qualified for WIC when I was a high school teacher, full time, and
my DH was a sports reporter for the local newspaper, full time.  We
also qualified for Medicaid.

I believe the qualifications are something like 150% of the poverty
level income in that area (so it'd be higher in some places and lower
in others).

Makes me revisit the issue of why I'm still teaching in North
Carolina...
