  I am conducting a small study on cross-nursing and wet-nursing and
I am posting here to ask your help. Below is an announcement about the
study, seeking participants. The research is focused on US and Canada,
but I would be interested in learning about practices in other places
as well. I expect to conduct the interviews by phone in September
and October.

2. Please post this other listservs that have people who might be
interested and appropriate participants.

2. If you have any friends, clients, patients who might be interested
please pass this info on to them and have them contact me. If you know
of someone who is not on email, I will be happy to contact them if

**Research study on cross nursing and wet nursing**

I am conducting a small research study on wet nursing (the complete
nursing of another's infant, often for pay) and cross-nursing (the
occasional nursing of another's infant while the mother continues
to nurse her own child) - involving telephone interviews with mothers
who have cross- nursed or wet nursed as donors, recipients or both.
Interviews will take about 20 minutes and will take place in September
and October, 2003. Particiapants' identity will be protected in reports
of findings.
