Thanks for the warning. I have never observed this skin burning, but I will
be on alert.
What I have observed is, the cream softens a lot when mixed with the
backflow of pumped milk.
And it backflows all the time when moms are sitting back in hospital beds
as they pump. They have to pause and tip the flange forward to let the milk
flow into the collection bottle. Maybe if we just stick with the original:
mom's milk as a lubricant, and consider the larger flanges if her skin is
too stressed at that area of the flange. 
Any suggestions on obtaining oil for use on the PP floor? manner of
dispensing it? olive, corn, canola, other?
