Hi All,

First - thank you to those who answered my question about stopping reglan
and starting domperidone. :-) The information was very helpful!

I have another question about domperidone and moms with a history of
pituitary tumors. I have a client currently who had prolactinemia about 7
yrs ago. It was treated with Parlodel and another medication (that she was
switched to because the parlodel made her very sick) successfully. She was
diagnosed with a tumor (very small) on her pituitary.

Currently she had her 2nd baby and has a very low milk supply - we are
getting her prolactin levels tested. But the question is: If a woman had
issues with her pituitary where it was once producing too much prolactin and
now is not producing enough and there is a history of tumor - then is it
safe to take domperidone? My gut says probably not because you would be
forcing an already dysfunctional pituitary to do more than it may be capable
of.

Thoughts?

Thank you!
Jaye
