Someone stated that anesthesiology doesnt' see
patients after delivery, but that wasn't the case with
me. "My" anesthesiologist did visit me twice post
partum, but I may have been a unique case. See
www.childbirth.org c-sections, Ursula Grunwald for my
first birth story, but briefly, it was long with LIH,
two walking epidurals and a surgery spinal- I went
through 4 nurses, in 5 nursing shifts. :-( I had
edema and delayed lactogenesis.

La La land anesthesiologists? Well, yes. But what
may seem minimal to them may not be minimal to us. I
had outpatient surgery a couple of months ago (same
day as a fellow Lactnut) and had wanted a spinal so my
head wouldnt' be whacked out. The anesthesiologist
convinced me to have a "light general" and I woke up
feeling pretty awful. Maybe I didnt' feel as awful as
I would have after a "regular" general, but my head
felt much worse than it did after an spinal and Versed
for surgery 5 years ago.

I do agree that epidurals aren't good for birth
though. In general.

Did I, btw, get delete happy and delete any responses
to my notice that I have something for someone's
Museum of Oddities? The breast cup?
