Hi!

Until we have some type of universal insurance for all, we will
always have additional charges hidden in our hospital bills...
That's the way it goes..  It's the same reasoning for 1$ Tylenols,
etc....  It's hard for me to take any one side of this issue.
Although I resent the charge, I also don't want a woman to be
turned down for delivery w/o insurance; how could her baby help
that...

P.S.  Most of these charges are standard.  I would always
recommend getting an itemized bill.  Imagine my surprise when I
was charged $60 for a breast pump kit when my baby had died!  Boy
was I mad, he was never fed in any way!  I sure got some of my
anger out on the hospital billing office!  :-)  :-(
