I was just putting some Motherlove nipple cream on my lips as I read your
email! I like the Motherlove product as an alternative to lanolin because
it is organic, all natural, and has calendula in it to help fight bacteria
and yeast. The only drawback is that it's not as gooey as lanolin, so it's
not as helpful with fissures as lanolin can sometimes be. I know of many
moms who have switched from lanolin to the Motherlove cream and just rave
about it, loving it far more than the lanolin.

FWIW, I've been using Lansinoh on my lips for the past two months and
they're still pretty chapped, so I switched over to the Motherlove a few
days ago and I can feel a big improvement already. Mine is a little gritty
though; don't know if that's normal or if mine got overheated or something.
