Liisa:  In my experience with teen moms, many of them are the vicims of
sexual abuse (maybe not the direct cause of the pregnancy, but a
contributing factor).  I have had to work long and hard with these moms
about feeling "normal" about their bodies.  Many of them are incredibly
inhibited about touching their own breasts.  Once we get the info across
about how great brst milk is, then many of them will choose to pump and feed
by bottle.  It is incredibly difficult for me, but I view this as a positive
step for them.  I only wish I could undo the pain they have experienced to
create this horrible barrier.
