Appointment of a new Executive Director for IBLCE

 

The International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Casey Ward Goldberg as the new IBLCE Executive Director from the 25th July 2005 following JoAnne Scott's resignation in March 2005 due to ill health. 

 

Ms Goldberg has a Bachelor of Arts, Hearing and Speech Science and most recently worked for Lamaze International with their certification program. She has a strong interest and a broad background in association management, continuing education/certification, business management, budget/finance, development, and marketing. In her role as Executive Director for IBLCE she will be able to follow her passion by working in the breastfeeding field, while enabling her to utilize the skills she has acquired in nine years of working with non-profit management.

 

The IBLCE Board and staff look forward to working with Ms Goldberg in continuing to protect mothers and babies by administering a voluntary certification for those with expertise in breastfeeding support and management.
