I confessed a while back that I didn't think it was a horrible practice to
re-refrigerate half-drunk breastmilk for a short period of time, but I'd
really be happier if we had a research base for this. I've still got a
Lactnet post I printed out from December 31, 1997 sitting on my computer
waiting for an update. It was from Rachel Brusseau, a biology major doing
a research project on used breastmilk storage times, and was posted by Joan
MacNeil. Are you out there, Joan, and whatever happened to this??? (If my
#*&% mail program didn't garble email addresses I'd email her privately to
ask.)
