   I'm feeling that this whole non-nutritive suck discussion is bothersome.
 As a nursing mom, I'm wondering why there has to be a delineation at all.
 Surely the origin of this idea must have come when bottles were introduced.
 Prior to that, I'd bet it wasn't an issue.    The word breastfeeding
 bothers me, too.  I use it because I'm so used to reading the word in the
literature, but I agree with the previous Lactnetter who felt that nursing is
a better word.  Again, I wonder if the origin of the word (this time,
breastfeeding) was introduced to counter the idea of bottlefeeding.
