Most likely not menopause.  Something else is wrong.  Doctor should keep
checking, or she should get new doctors, til she figures it out.

Lactational amenorrhea of 2-3 years duration in normal, healthy, well-fed US
women is PERFECTLY NORMAL.  It is not something that needs to be tested.
Sigh.
