Dear Winnie,  I can't quote you a journalled reference for the "off center
latch" but I did hear Jack speak on it last year and it seems to  me he
credited Chloe Fisher as "inventor" so to speak. As an RN/LC who found her
way to it by practice rather than example, i payed extra attention to this
portion of his lecture (not hard to do, they are all great!). She may have
published something.
