At last it is official and I can spread the word. Boston Medical Center,
where I am the Lactation Consultant, just became Baby Friendly. We do around
1600 births a year and serve primarily an inner city minority population. We
are #22 in the US and first in Massachusetts.
For ALL Lactnuts in the area: Karin Cadwell will be presenting the award on
December 21st at 1 pm in the main lobby of Boston Medical Center. You are ALL
invited!!!! I'm serious. I guess you guys should email me if you are coming.
We might have to order an extra cake!!
