While reading it, do also bear in mind that Medical Hypotheses is not a
peer-reviewed research journal. It is an opinion, conjecture, and
hypothesis journal. (This is, after all, the 'journal' that publishes
HIV/AIDS denialism, and even - in 2007 - a paper [1] on how it is
appropriate to call Down syndrome "mongolism" because they [supposedly]
like handicrafts, squatting or sitting cross-legged to rest, and foods
with MSG.)

I am not saying that I disagree with the quoted opinions in this
particular infant care piece; but do be aware that this is neither
research nor evidence.
