The book I read uses the name Cnicus benedictus and Silybum marianum.  It
claims that it increases milk supply best by using up to 20 drops of tincture
2-4 times daily.  Also it is said to remove suicidal feelings and lift
depression.  (May be called Our Lady's Milk Thistle).  Found mostly in the
West Coast in the US (don't know about France).

 I listed the source earlier.  The book is called "Wise Woman Herbal for the
Child Bearing Year" by Susun Weed.
