When I was pregnant with my first daughter, I bought a child’s rocking
chair from a nearby country antique store.  The woman asked me if I were
going to breastfeed my baby.  She said ‘good’ when I answered in the
affirmative.

She volunteered to tell me that as a dairy farmer, she knew that calves
that fed directly from their own mother's teat did better than calves
that got their own mothers milk fed to them from a bottle.
