Hello, all,
I had a call today from a mom of a 3 week old whose son is very often
bringing up milk, and it comes out his nose. I asked if he also spits up out
his mouth and she said mostly just his nose. She had been for a weight
check-baby gained 1 1/2 lbs since birth, and was told to cut back, she was
overfeeding him. Seems to me that gain was about what my kids gained then
too-maybe more. He is also gassy/colicky so I asked about milk and she
started drinking lots of milk when she became pregnant even tho she didn't
like it. So hoepfully the milk will be a factor in his gassiness, I wonder if
it might help with the vomiting as well. I wanted to run this past you, as I
nver heard of a baby mostly vomiting only out his nose, and don't want to be
missing that he might have some anatomical problem that I'm not aware
of.Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks!
                                                    Sincerely,
