Infant massage, like breastfeeding, is a wonderful part of the bonding experience. It is a great way to continue all that skin to skin contact. While IM may be a whole body massage, it can also begin as still touch ... just two fingers on a babies chest. Don't rush it. 

Oils should be edible and even better if it is organic. Olive or sunflower are good choices. Whatever the parent puts on their babies skin, you know that the baby will end up putting in their mouths. If the baby has allergies, parents need to pay attention to the oil they choose. You can have them talk to their doctor about how to test for sensitivity.
