Kathy,
I find that pediatricians value patient feedback. If you keep plugging
away with those reports, and make them as professional, easy to read
(short!), and valuable to the pedi as possible AND some of your clients
report back to their doctor that they valued your services, then you
will start to get referrals. I slogged away for years, and all it took
was a couple of clients saying positive things about me to their docs.
Of course you can't ask for that to happen, but eventually you'll see
someone who has that "tell the world" personality. And hopefully that
won't be the one mom you couldn't help!
The doctors office staff are important gatekeepers. They also have a
difficult, underappreciated job (we can relate, right?), and need us to
be kind and patient when we call the office.
