I just had to share a victory with allof you, they are few and far between
so it is so nice to share.

I have been talking for years to our local pediatricians about clipping
frenulums, one will clip any of his pts in the hospital that I ask him 2,
unfortunately he is the least supportive bf doc but the is the oldest and
was trained to clip them in med school...
anyway the 2 other pediatricians and I have had MANY long discussions about
it, the female one ordered Dr Jaines video about 6 months ago and watched
it, I have given he tons of frenulum literature too, well the other day she
clipped a frenulum in her office ! ! Her first! Oh Yeah!  I said baby need
it before hospital d/c 2 weeks ago, having no clueshe might ever do one, but
she took the wait and see approach, see if mom gets really sore and see if
baby gains, will baby did gain, but mom was more and more sore..... the
other pediatrician in that practice (according to mom) used a tongue blade
and pressed on the babiestongue and said it was marginal and had made her an
appt with the ENT in town that will clip them, but mom was in pain and had
an appt with the other pediatrician in the practice  before the ENT one and
she did it right there.  The mom said that before 4 out of  5 feeds were
really difficult to get him to latch and stay and now 2 days later 4 out of
5 feeds are an easy latch with only 1 - 2 more difficult ones per day and
her nipples are feeling better already!!!!!!!!!!!  ;-)) Doing the happy
dance!!!!
