Dear Lactnetters,

I just needed to add a final note, having responded to three separate
messages regarding BFHI. I rarely have found topics that compelled me to
respond. As you can probably tell from my messages, this is an issue that
burns in my belly. I'm not sure my enthusiasm can top Minda's but I'm a
close second! If I tend to jump on my soap box from time to time, please
bear with me!

I was thrilled when Jan B did her research on BFHI for her recent talk. I am
eager to incorporate her info into BSC's courses. BSC considers herself an
ambassador of the Baby Friendly initiative in the U.S. So much of the BFHI
effort is attitudinal. We've had people enter our on-site course with walls
built up in regard to many of the BFHI principles. By the end of six days
with our staff, and with networking among the other students, they have "seen
the light." It is quite rewarding for all of us.

Now I MUST get back to my CNM revisions!
