Shirley: In your response to Teresa about the alpha hydroxy acids, you
stated that you didn't think that they would be for use on a lactating
nipple, and I would agree based on the information you provide. However,
I thought that the question was about its use elsewhere on the body. I
haven't found anything about the potential for absorption and subsequent
entry into human milk (and I doubt that anyone has actually studied
this - perhaps Dr. Hale has information on this question). However, it
seems that these agents are topical and unlikely to get absorbed in
significant quantities. Alicia. [log in to unmask]
