I'm the maintainer of a website about toxins in human milk. Therefor I
received the following email from an Indonesian student. I cannot help
him or her, I hope someone else can do that.

Dear sir/madam,

I am an Indonesian student currently taking a masters programme
in
Community Nutrition at SEAMEO, University of Indonesia. My thesis is
entitled "Nutritional Status: an indicator to determine the risk of
heavy
metal contamination in Surabaya, Indonesia". I collected blood and
breastmilk from 97 mothers who live in an area that is suspected to be
heavily contaminated with lead, cadmium and mercury. Unfortunately the
sources have not been identified.

I found your name whilst browsing on the internet and was
wondering
whether you could help me. I still haven't found any sources that can
tell
me the toxic levels of lead, cadmium and mercury in the breastmilk.
Perhaps
you could suggest some readings or other sources where i could find this
much needed information.

I would greatly appreciate your help. Hope to hear from you
soon.

Best Regards,

Adji Vera Hakim.
