When I was regional coordinator for the WIC BF Promotion & Support Program 1990's we were instructed when filling out our monthly reports (stats)  that a mother breastfeeding even 1 x a day only ( ie formula feeding 7 feedings, nursing 1)  was considered a " breastfeeding mom" statistic.    Just wondering if this is still true?  On the other hand, other moms who were nursing would lie and say they were Bottlefeeding in order to receive the one can of formula - just in case...   important work but very frustrating
