Help! I am somewhat new in Lactnet and cannot search the archives very
well.  I have been reading a lot in the last few weeks in this site about
recurrent yeast infections...now I need the info and cannot access it
well.  I have a mom with a 5 month old baby (her fifth) who called me
crying on Friday and totally frustrated.  The baby has had thrush since two
weeks of age.  Mom has gone round and round with Nystatin and Gential
Violet until now the baby's mouth is abraded and very tender.  Mom has sore
nipples also.  Baby has been diagnosed with GE reflux also, and is always
spitting up and crying.  She is always told by the pediatrician that there
is nothing more to do besides Nystatin and Gential violet.  I remember
seeing lots of remedies on Lactnet lately...including Jack's special
cream.  Please post any ideas you may offer, as I told Mom I would call her
today with help...she is counting on me, so I am counting on you!  Thanks
ever so much and I will be checking this site all day for ideas!
