While we are on the subject of samples and Code violators.

I am in the process of setting up a breastfeeding conference in NJ.
Because of the many reasons it has to be done on a shoe string budget,
thus sponsorship issue becomes very important.

Some things will be done on a barter basis (meeting venue, IT, and
hopefully - webinar setup), and I did get a little grant to cover the
CME part, but I will still have to raise a lot of moneys.

So my question is - what companies people are using to sponsor
Code-compliant conferences?

Is contacting manufacturers big (i.e. Medela) or small (i.e.
breastfeeding cookies) OK?
What about local breast pump distributors?
Insurance companies?
Local hospitals?
Local practices?
Retailers like Trader Joe's (not selling formulas, but stocking on a lot
of healthy foods) and JCPenny (breastfeeding bra's)?
Local farm markets and farm cooperatives (the event will be in early
spring)?

What else I am missing?

Tx in advance,
Alla
