Linda has many books that meet various needs, and each is FANTASTIC in its
own way (no, I get no financial benefit from reporting this or from their
sales). I own them all...

Coach's Notebook - I'm an IBCLC that teaches many different groups - from
African American Peer Counselors to Physicians in our Public Health Center.
There are useful interactive educational activities for any of them - and I
have to go back and re-read it when I'm preparing, because there will be
something that previously wouldn't "fit" into my class that now does -
especially after being "battered on the head" by Linda and Cathy Carothers
that people DON'T remember what you lecture...they remember what they DO!!!
As I'm very unimaginative about activities, this is an important part of my
library.

Private Practice - I have this, it has great information on organization and
networking - it's NOT a Lactation Consultant manual it's a BUSINESS manual -
how to get yourself going and KEEP yourself going.

Lactation Exam Review Book - great to practice and review for the exam, and
also as a resource to design questions for pre- and post- exams of your own
for trainings you offer.

Impact of Birthing Practices on Breastfeeding: Protecting the Mother and
Baby Continuum - her book with Mary Kroeger is very important in our
outreach to the Childbirth community - a community that I'm finding very
hard to "get" to!

Jeanette Panchula, BSW, RN, PHN, IBCLC
...one of the 2,200 adults in the LLLI conference - who actually saw the two
Leaders who helped her in 1971 with her first - and VERY JAUNDICED - baby!
