I have to say I enjoyed Carolee's message about the baby buckets. As a mom
of baby twins I really struggled with transporting them both around when
they were tiny. I'd have sold my soul for *two* of those handy,
comfortable-looking little bucket items so that I could have carried one
baby in each hand instead of having to move/disturb them in and out of car
seats, to carry them singly (leaving one, which one?) into houses, into
shops, then leaving the first one, to retrieve the second, getting them both
back in the car again - it was a nightmare! I envy the moms who are able to
transport their still-sleeping babies by unclipping the pod thingy out of
their cars and into my office in one smooth, convenient operation. I guess
it's all relative.

Smiling too at Cathy's description of the mishap in the road, and
remembering that I sometimes tipped our buggy over backwards by loading the
handles with shopping bags, exceeding the weight of the babies. I'd stop to
examine something in a shop and turn round to see them up-ended, little legs
kicking around indignantly .... So embarrassing!
