The Associated Press
The following recall has been announced:

-About 13,000 cans of Calcilo XD Low-Calcium/Vitamin D-Free Infant Formula
with Iron, manufactured by Abbott Nutrition of Columbus, Ohio, because small
amounts of air may have entered the cans, causing oxidation. Consumption of
highly oxidized foods can cause nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. The recall
involved 14.1-ounce cans with stock code number 00378 and lot numbers
39973RB or 47239RB6 printed on the bottom. The cans were distributed between
June 2006 and April 2008. For more information, call the company at
1-800-638-6493.

...and the list goes on!

Babies on this formula probably need special formula - and this is a real
problem - especially if these cans are shipped far distances and in hot
environments (thinking now of Puerto Rico).
