How about an inservice that's mandatory, with a future hands on
observation review
putting into practice what they learned .
You can take advantage of the new AAP breastfeeding policy guide-
lines as the reason for mandatory update and information inservice.

Once upon a time I was a hospital administrator.
We used to make employees participate at  inservices to hear all kinds
of updated policy information that was important to there
job performance or safety by Making them signoff on a list that they
participated.

Hopefully If the nurses had authentic knowledge and skills
in solving minor breastfeeding problems, maybe then
they would not push formula so quickly and undermine breastfeeding.
