Dear Barbara,

I think you are absolutely correct about the birth practices in the West
and the damage they do.  I was unable to work in Labor and Delivery for
more than 6 months because I couldn't watch what went on there!!!
Forgive me for repeating myself but...Kangaroo care can bring mothers
and babies closer and heal what happens (seemingly beyond their control)
during difficult births.  It's easy to do and it's free.  The power of
skin-to-skin contact is immeasurable!
