I talked to a mom today with a 7-week old infant. Mom is worried about
dizziness she has been experiencing during the past 4 weeks. She says that
it hits her when the baby first latches on, and that it often continues off
and on throughout the day. She says it is especially bad at night when she
lays down horizontally to sleep.

Is this a reaction to prolactin surges? Why is it getting worse at 7 weeks?

Infant did have a lot of trouble with latch on in the first four weeks, and
is just now beginning to breastfeed most of the time (> 50%).

Please comment if you have heard of this.

Thanks bunches,
Brenda Phipps
