I think what she really meant is that it contains no long chain EFA's,
which is true unless you're getting algae oil or neuromins DHA made from
algae oil.

While the vegan sources have LNA (short chain omega 3 alpha linolenic
acid), they don't  have any long chain EPA/DHA.    The other problem of
course, which Jennifer and I both mentioned is that some people can't
convert, or don't convert efficiently. LNA to EPA. (10:1 ratio of
conversion)   and the conversion of EPA to DHA is even further down the
line (at about a 4:1 ratio).   Not to mention of course the issue of the
high dietary omega six's.
