As a hospital LC, many years ago (probably 5 or so) our anesthesia dept had toradol on our preprinted anesthesia order sheet with a stipulation that it be used only for non nursing mothers.
I remember approaching the chief of anesthesia who said show me that it is ok and I will have it changed on the order sheet. I copied Hale for him and it was changed back then. It took a few more Docs to convince and each time I had copies of Hales info regarding toradol to show them and it never came up again.Sometimes it is easy to change practice and sometimes it is not.
