I know that this was discussed on Lactnet once but I have no idea how to
search it in the archives.

I have a client who said that her breasts grew large and heavy during her
pregnancy but that during the last 6 weeks they "deflated" and were floppy
by the time of the birth. She is now having very low milk output having
experienced no usual signs of lactogenesis !!.

I suppose knowing why will not help much with milk output but I am
curious. We are addressing the problem as if she were adopting.

This is the first time that I have had a client with this experience but I
do know that some of you have.
