Holsteins Favor Heifers, Not Bulls: Biased Milk Production Programmed During Pregnancy as a Function of Fetal Sex.
Hinde K, Carpenter AJ, Clay JS, Bradford BJ. PLOS One, Feb 2014, Vol. 9

Cows produce more milk for daughters. I get why evolution wise. One bull can take care of lots of cows, but the # of offspring is what carries them forward in surviving.

Has anyone seen similar research for humans??? Someone sent my niece a brief notice saying this was true for humans, but I haven't seen any research like that ????
