There IS a new term use for the infant born between 37 - 38 6/7 weeks
gestation. The newborn is now considered an "early term" infant, because
they have been found to be less "ready" for the extrauterine transition. So
glad this baby has been identified as not quite there yet! There's also a
new campaign re: "Go the Full 40 (weeks GA)! Here's some online research
