I appreciate your calling our collective attention to the fenugreek and
allergy connection. This is info I will have to add. This is why I always
share herbal info (written info) w/ the client and advise her to first
counsel with her physician/primary hcp before starting the herbs. However it
is our job first to screen for potential problems and do the counseling
also. Since I am not a physician nor a pharmacist I do not presume to know
all the possibilities re the client's health status or all possible
medication interactions.

I know all of us appreciate having some of the great thinkers and practicers
of lactation here on lactnet. Since there have been some great conferences
lately (I missed them all) I would love to hear some of the new things you
lucky ones learned while there. Please share. I would love to hear more
about Jan Riordan's findings re epidurals and bf (someone briefly mentioned
on lactnet) - searched pubmed but maybe it's not published yet. Thanks.
