While looking for info for a client on breast abscess, I came across this
link:
http://www.surgery.uiowa.edu/prbr.html
titled :
DIAGNOSIS AND MANAGEMENT OF BREAST PROBLEMS
DURING PREGNANCY AND LACTATION

It has some great pictures!

BUT I question this statement :" Because milk is an excellent culture
medium, the breast must be kept empty. Breast feeding from the contralateral
side may usually be continued; suckling from the affected breast has been
reported to cause pneumonia in the infant and should be avoided."

Causes pneumonia? Anyone every hear of this?

I am e mailing to the doctor that wrote this the get references.......

I will post here when I hear back from him!
