Thanks, Shirley. Yes, I know this. I voiced this concern to the patient. She
says the surgeon claims "his" surgery doesn't affect lactation. The patient
knows enough about the anatomy of the breast that she is prepared to discuss
this with him (she made an appointment to see him this month). She feels, as
I do, that he probably operates for cosmetic reasons with little (or no)
concern for lactation function.

Thanks for sharing your case study, as well. Since I think this patient will
likely purchase the device herself (and use it) I will probably have
follow-up to share in a few months.
