As the List-maintainer, I can't tell you how frustrating this is.
However, my usual list-owner account is not working, and I cannot receive
the subscription requests in order to process them (I process them all
manually)  Those individuals who want to be subscribed to
the parent-l-digest (or the single post mode) would probably
do best to just email me at [log in to unmask]
giving me their subscription details and I will add you to the list from
there.

Parent-L is a list for discussing extended breastfeeding, breastfeeding
in general, and attachment parenting.
