I would like to introduce myself and a relatively new organisation, the Network of Australian Lactation Colleges (NALC).
My name is Laureen Lawlor-Smith. I am a LC and a General Medical Practitioner working 50km south of Adelaide in South Australia (in the middle of a wine producing area). My sister is Carolyn Lawlor-Smith who you have probably seen contributing to the Lactnet from time to time.
NALC consists of LCs and other health professionals committed to the support, promotion and protection of breastfeeding. We currently have in excess of 400 members across Australia. I am the editor of our newsletter.
I am looking forward to increasing my knowledge and networking via the Lactnet.
