Hi
Please, no more about my statement about no one knowing how hot and how
long it takes to kill HIV. I know it is a fragile virus and that is the
only good thing about it.
The statement was a musing regarding the peds chat line. They were
discussing how long it would take to kill HIV by boiling, without
wrecking the milk.
I still think it would probably be dangerous to be messing around with
boiling milk, even if the virus is readily killed.
It is far safer to have the babies feed from their mother's breast than
to boil or bank milk in third world countries without sanitation.
I know you all will forgive me for not being very clear as I was
composing my thoughts at the computer ,typing one handed while nursing
and my husband was waiting for his turn .
(At the computer) ;-)
