Hi Mary,
I totally agree with you on this one. The only thing I would might have done differently is asking the doc to latch the baby himself! HaHa, I love that! Sometimes I think the doctor is just not getting all the info/nuances when he talks to mother prior to discharge. The message he perhaps got was that baby was fed formula 2 times and so was too full to bf. He did not get the whole picture of all the problems up to that point and that really the baby has only gotten 12 mls the first day and 20 mls the 2nd and is now going home unable to bf effectively.
