What I try, and I have to sadly admit not always with the wanted effect, is
to explain why I give this advise. So I give a mini seminar on anatomy and
fysiology of lactation, milkcomposition and -transfer and specifics of human
babies. I always make sure to add that this is the designers model and how
this differs from what we in our society expect from babies. And that parents
in every thing they do with their babies have to choose and decide based on
their knowledge in combination to what is possible for them.
In this way I give the parents a possible cause and a possible solution to
their problem and it is up to them to decide what they do with it. Ofcourse,
if they choose not to feed as frequent as would be ideal, I'll try and seek
other solutions.

Warmly greeting,

Gonneke
