In July of 2012 I interviewed at a hospital in the same corporate umbrella I was currently working in.  I was interested because it was a union position and it is closer to my home and driving against traffic. However, it included 2 days a month as an OB floor nurse, which I have not done for 14 yrs.  I was offered the position but turned it down, told the manager to contact me if she changes the job description.  Well, after going through 2 lactation consultants who did not stay for whatever reason......she was ready to bargain with me. She called me in June, I interviewed again, and accepted the job in August.  Took Sept off, and here I am.  Closer to home, lower census, and more pay!They have not had someone with my experience and skill level and love me! Susan in Minnesotarn ibclc
